Henrock is an informal and relaxed restaurant from chef and restaurateur Simon Rogan, set within Linthwaite House in the hills above Lake Windermere.
Head Chef Sam Fry works with his kitchen team to create a frequently changing à la carte menu inspired by the chefs’ travels around the world and which also utilises local ingredients. True to Simon Rogan's farm-to-table ethos and deep-rooted respect for natural ingredients, much of the produce comes from his own farm, Our Farm, located just a few miles away in the Cartmel Valley.
The Henrock team is committed to sustainability and moving towards producing zero waste. The growers and chefs work together to implement innovative growing methods that result in near-perfect produce in a regenerative and sustainable environment.
Simon Rogan's first and only afternoon tea is served to guests in the cosy Bar & Conservatory and on its panoramic terrace boasting views of the lake.
The all-day menu, served in the Bar & Conservatory, features comforting dishes for any time of day and a range of beautiful desserts. To accompany the bar menu, Bar & Lounge Manager Andreas Grammatikopoulos and his team, have put together a drinks list that utilises fresh, seasonal ingredients from Our Farm in the Cartmel Valley.
Henrock is open daily for dinner and Sunday lunch. An all-day menu, seasonal cocktails and afternoon tea are served in the Bar & Conservatory.
