Henrock is an informal and relaxed restaurant from chef and restaurateur Simon Rogan, set within Linthwaite House in the fells above Windermere.

The team, led by Executive Chef Paul Burgalières and Head Chef Mark McCabe, has created a frequently changing set menu which stays true to Simon Rogan's farm-to-table ethos and deep-rooted respect for natural ingredients. Much of the produce comes from Simon's farm, known as Our Farm, located just a few miles away in the Cartmel Valley, whilst flavours and techniques are inspired by his travels to his international restaurants in Hong Kong, Malta and Phuket.

The restaurant is committed to sustainability in all its forms. The growers at Our Farm and chefs work together to implement innovative growing methods that result in near-perfect ingredients, and restaurant manager Andreas Grammatikopoulos incorporates any surplus ingredients into creative cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.

Henrock is open for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday and for lunch on Sundays. For dinner, guests are invited to choose three courses from a seasonal selection of dishes, all of which are served alongside snacks to start with, a pre-dessert and petit fours, at a set menu price of £75. On Sunday lunchtimes, the Henrock team serve a seasonally changing selection of main courses alongside snacks to start and a dessert to finish at £42.

SUNDAY LUNCH

Henrock’s three course Sunday lunch set menu is inspired by flavours and techniques discovered on the team’s travels around the world. True to their ethos, they predominantly work with the best local and seasonal ingredients.

Choose three courses from their seasonal menu, your selection of a starter, main and dessert is at a set menu price of £42 per person, with the addition of snacks to begin your Sunday Lunch.

CHILDREN AT HENROCK

We welcome children of all ages between 18h00 – 19h00 and have a special children's menu available for this time. However, after 19h00, we only allow children over the age of 12 and cannot offer a children's menu.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance.
