A restaurant by award-winning restaurateur and chef Simon Rogan MBE, Henrock opened its doors within Linthwaite House in October 2019 and showcases natural, perfectly seasonal ingredients in a relaxed, informal setting.
Executive Chef Paul Burgalières and Head Chef Mark McCabe have created a set menu and a tasting menu both utilise produce from Our Farm, Simon's regenerative farm in the Cartmel Valley. The menus also nod to techniques and produce discovered during Simon's time cooking in and exploring the locations of his international restaurants in Hong Kong, Malta and Phuket.

At Linthwaite House, with its unparalleled views of Lake Windermere, The Bar & Conservatory invites you on a culinary journey that seamlessly marries sophistication with laid-back charm. Set against the breathtaking fells, it offers an array of mouthwatering dishes meticulously crafted by Head Chef Gerald van der Walt. The Bar and Conservatory offers an all-day dining menu featuring nibbles and an inspired bar food selection. Linthwaite House's new all-day Bar & Conservatory menu hits the spot. From the tantalising fan favourites like the Lobster Roll to a selection of light and appetising options, each plate embodies culinary artistry with an explosion of tastes. The space boasts a resident mixologist expertly crafting libations like the Lakeside sunset.

ACCESS MOBILITY
Linthwaite House was originally built as a Summer Home in the early 1900’s, however, over the years has undergone many refurbishments and extensions and is now a luxury hotel offering 36 rooms and suites. Due to its historic foundations, not all areas are as accessible as we would like them to be.
The restaurant, bar & conservatory as well as reception are on the ground floor, and rooms are dispersed throughout the main hotel and grounds. Kindly advise our reservations team at time of enquiry, of any requests or requirements you may have in order to ensure an appropriate room is allocated.
