Foundational Partnership

Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines is the Fine Wine partnership between co-proprietors Analjit Singh and Chris and Andrea Mullineux. The partnership owns two of South Africa’s most highly regarded wineries - Mullineux in Swartland and Leeu Passant in Franschhoek. The Swartland portfolio encompasses the Mullineux Roundstone, Mullineux Signature, Mullineux Single Terroir and Kloof Street ranges.

The Leeu Passant cuvées, synonymous with the South African Old Vine Project, honour the Cape’s vinous history dating back to the 17th century. These wines share many elements of the great wines produced in the Cape in the 1900’s, reconstructed in a modern, minimalist way while respecting the timelessness of tradition.

At Mullineux and Leeu Family Wines

The Mullineuxs follow a reasoned approach to farming in all their vineyards and endeavour to be as natural and organic as possible. Some of the vineyards are certified organic. Chris expertly manages the vineyards.

Their commitment to quality and deep respect for the environment and employees have earned them acclaim both nationally and internationally. The highly respected Platter's Guide has awarded Mullineux an unprecedented five times as South African Winery of the Year.
